Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you’ll run point on day-to-day servicing and renewals for a book of commercial P&C clients (often investor/operator-owned businesses).
You’ll keep the machine tight: accurate data, clean documentation, proactive renewal execution, and fast client response times.
You’ll partner closely with the Producer/Account Executive and our support resources to deliver a “buttoned up” client experience from onboarding through renewal, endorsements, certificates, and policy delivery.
What You’ll Do:
Renewal management (process-driven, deadline-heavy)
You’ll own the renewal timeline end-to-end, including:
Confirm client setup in our AMS, compare BOB reporting to EPIC, and track upcoming renewals.
Request renewal apps/requirements, currently valued loss runs, and renewal expectations from incumbent markets.
Build the renewal exposure workbook using expiring policies/endorsements.
Send renewal solicitation to the client (workbook + apps + expectations/marketing status) and drive completion via follow-ups.
Assemble submissions and send to incumbent and/or marketing carriers; manage follow-ups and market Q&A.
Coordinate loss control visits if requested by carriers.
Schedule renewal meetings with the client (with Producer/AE), gather quotes, and build the proposal (premium summary, marketing summary, loss analysis).
Binding, issuance + documentation
Obtain written bind order; collect signatures/apps needed to bind.
Send bind orders to carriers and confirm binding, policy numbers, and agency-bill invoices when applicable.
Send client binders/confirmation including auto ID cards and payment terms.
Deliver invoices to accounting; ensure all renewal correspondence is attached AMS under the correct naming conventions.
Receive policies, coordinate accuracy checks, request corrections/endorsements as needed, and finalize delivery (including CSR24 folder/link delivery where applicable).
Certificates, endorsements, and client service
Coordinate and QC certificates (COIs) prior to issuance; support certificate workflows (including requests routed through out support team)
Manage endorsements, exposure changes, and general service requests with speed and precision.
Be the client’s “first call” for operational insurance needs—while keeping the Producer/AE looped in on anything material.
Support NewCo’s transaction-forward model
Depending on the client/deal, you may support work tied to M&A/transactional needs such as contractual review & compliance, change-in-control/runoff coordination, and lender insurance requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years in commercial lines account management / CSR / client service (P&C brokerage).
Working knowledge of COIs, endorsements, audits, binders, policy checking, and carrier workflows.
Comfort operating inside an agency management system
Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills (you will live in exposure workbooks).
Excellent written communication and follow-through (you close loops—internally and with clients).
High attention to detail + ability to manage multiple renewals at once without drops.
P&C license (or ability to obtain quickly)
Nice-to-haves
Experience supporting complex renewals (multi-line, multi-location)
Experience working with PE-backed / operator-led businesses or transaction-adjacent insurance needs.
A college degree in accounting, finance, or general business.
